When a 2000-year-old section of London’s original roman wall was discovered in the basement of an old office block, our client, in partnership with the Museum of London, turned the space into a two-story exhibition atrium, museum and café.

Artefacts found at the site, as well as the wall itself were put on show and Senzo speciality coffee roasters were brought in to complete the attraction. All that was needed was a creative look and feel and strong branding to bring the newly created “City Wall at Vine Street” space to life. Big Frank were asked to create flexible, subtle yet distinctive branding that was contemporary whilst retaining the necessary heritage feel .

Our solution centred on the pattern of the brickwork of the wall. This would allow easy application of flexible graphics onto a wide range of applications ranging from exterior signage to interior way-finding and online applications.

The City Wall at Vine Street website, includes enough historical information to whet the appetite, as well as other useful information and details of booking for both individuals and group bookings. We designed, produced and installed all exterior and interior signage and provided full audio, visual  and photographic requirements for the launch event.
